1960s 1970s MACK TRUCK KEY TO THE CITY HAYWARD CA FROM EXECUTIVE ESTATE SCARCE!!

From time-to-time you see these extra large Brass Skeleton Keys for Mack Truck Headquarters in Allentown, PA. You may even have one in your extensive rare collection of Mack Memorabilia. Do you have "Key to the City" for Hayward California The "Truck Capital of the West"? Aside from the one I previously sold, I have never seen one of these before. Very Rare. There was a gentlemen by the name of Ray Stepp who worked for Mack in Oakland California as the Manager of Public Relations. Stepp was hired in 1972 and was in charge of publicity for Mack Western. There were some great authentic artifacts from his personal collection. And this piece proves that out.
Key appears to be made entirely of Brass. It measures 8-1/4" long by 3" Tall. Famous Mack Bulldog since 1905 is in the center of the key head. Key Shaft reads "KEY TO THE CITY HAYWARD CAL TRUCK CAPITAL OF THE WEST." One Sided Ornamentation. The other side is flat. Solid Brass Metal. It is missing the Red Velour Bag that originally came with it. Very Detailed.  Scarce Piece.  Top Quality. Mack Headquarters in Allentown was in operation from 1905 to 2009, By Contrast, Western Mack that was only in operation form 1966 through 1981.  When you can find Real Deal Mack Western Memorabilia -Buy It.
