For sale is this beautiful Fostoria VERSAILLES Azure Blue Covered Candy 3 Partition Dish #2331 with Fleur de Lis Top. Versailles is one of the most sought-after patterns of Elegant Etched Glassware produced around the Depression Era, ca. 1928-1944 and this covered candy dish in Versailles Azure Blue is very scarce. The 7" diameter base dish is very architectural, with thick glass partitioned into 3 sections like a peace sign that curve up toward the center. It contrasts nicely with the cover's etched lid and Fleur de Lis handle, which is very lacey and elegant. With the lid on, the dish stands approx. 5 3/4". Condition is very good overall with minor flaws I discovered by touch as they are hard to see and photograph. There are five rough spots on the bottom rim that can be felt, three of those spots are big enough I would call fleabites (pictured) and there is another on the very top of the Fleur de Lis. Because of where these nicks are positioned, they are not noticeable. There is also some minor scratching from use, mostly on the bottom inside.
