    Description

    We have another one of the very rare Mettlach stein sets that was made in 1899. This stein has the mold number 2348 with a decoration number 1022 and is 3 1/3L and 13 1/2” tall to the top of the lid. The design as seen in the pictures is very elaborate with musicians and people dancing.
    There are ten matching
    tumblers or beakers with the mold number 2327 and two different decoration numbers 1024 and 1025 which are part of the set with the master stein. There is also a wooden tray that is part of this set. Most of the pieces are without chips or cracks. I did find one beaker has a handle. I also found two of the lady beakers have small chips on the top rim and the one man beaker with the handle has some hairlines and a chip too. A second man beaker has a small chip on the top rim. This stein has a pewter lid with a Bock beer figure on top of the hinge. The stein has no chips or cracks. This stein set is a great addition to any advanced collectors collection.
