Onondaga County (NY) Sheriff's Dept. Air Wing / Helicopter Commemorative Mug. Onondaga County is home to the City of Syracuse, NY.
This 10 ounce mug has the Onondaga Sheriff's Dept badge screen-printed in black on one side and tha image of a Bell Jet Ranger Helicopter in black on the other side.
As any aficianado of Police memorabilia knows, police aviation and air ambulance items are hard to come by...so this is a bit of a rare find.
We have some slight personal connection to this mug - back in the early 1980s, Tom flew the military versions of this helicopter (OH-58A & C - the Kiowa); and in the late 1980s, he flew with the US Army Reserves out of Hancock Field; the same airfield from which the Onondaga Sheriff's Department's Aviation Branch flies.

is Excellent, Used. No chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, wear, or color fading anywhere in this hard-to-find mug.
