    Small patch.   About 3" X 3".
    Hidden high in a secluded valley , this is the smallest and most physically isolated of the Pueblos. This isolation enables the Picuris to withdraw into themselves and prevent intrusion from the outside world. As of 1994, the tribe's population was only 270.
