VINTAGE FOSTORIA GLASS CRYSTAL CHINTZ ETCH # 6026 6 OZ. LOW SHERBET STEM SM CHIP
This is a beautiful piece of American hand-made elegant glass.
It was made by the Fostoria Glass Company, formerly of Moundsville, West Virginia.
This bowl on this stem is a blown glass piece and has an optic pattern.
The glass blank pattern is part of Fostoria’s # 6026 stemware line.
The deep plate etching pattern decorating the glass is “Chintz” (Fostoria’s # 338 plate etching).
This piece is made in crystal or clear colored glass.
This piece was a wedding gift to my Mother in 1945.

According to the book
Fostoria: Its First Fifty Years
by Hazel Marie Weatherman this etching pattern was introduced in 1940 and was still being produced in the 1970s.
The “Chintz” etching pattern is pictured on page 275 of this same book on this very same pattern stem.
I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability.

Age and Condition
This piece dates to circa 1940s.
Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of these items.
Three is one shallow chip to the top rim – see the last photo for close-up of this & Please note: there is on tiny shallow chip to the very top of the rim; the three light colored marks above the chip are reflections and are not on the glass.
Otherwise, there are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
Other than the chip, it doesn’t look as though has been used.
Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger than it really is.
Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.

It is about 3.75” (9.5 cm) in diameter and sits about 4.375” (11.1 cm) off the table.
Approximate Weight
About 5.125 ounces (146 grams).

The USPS says 6-10 business days, but it can take longer.

International shipment options will be via USPS First Class Mail (when the item being shipped meets the requirements of that service) or Priority Mail when it does not.
DO NOT ask us to show a lesser value on the Customs Forms than the item sold for, or to ship the item purchased item as a gift.

RETURN POLICY
