VILLEROY & BOCH METTLACH GERMAN COASTER #1032
This is a nice old pottery coaster from Germany.
It has a beautiful transfer design in soft colors with gnomes drinking beer. The design also includes a wood barrel and sugar beets.
There is a saying in German printed on the coaster. It roughly translates to read: " Lots of drinking-Singing songs=Helps make good singing".
It is a cream color pottery.

It is stamped Villeroy & Boch Mettlach on the bottom.
It has a number 44 embossed into the bottom.
It has the number 1032 and Geschutzt stamped on the bottom.
It measures 5-1/4" diameter with an inner diameter measuring 3-1/2" X 5/8" tall.
