WATSON STERLING SILVER STOPPER & FOSTORIA GLASS SALAD DRESSING CRUET ETCHED 1930

Description

This is a
near antique Watson sterling silver stopper and Fostoria glass salad dressing cruet
with etched markings and designs. Please see my eBay store and my other listings for more silver items. This handsome cruet has a graceful form, a beautiful pontil, and a shining sterling silver stopper, with a monogram that I can't make out. The side of the stopper has the Watson W lion crown mark and "Sterling W312"(?). The glass cruet has ornate etched floral designs, and markings for "Vinegar" and "Oil" in the correct 1:3 proportion. This good looking cruet measures 6 3/4" tall (17 cm) including the stopper and 3" across the base. The pieces weigh 18 oz (330 gr) together on my little scale. The glass and silver are in very good condition, with a couple of minute dings on the bottom of the stopper (nothing sharp or cracked). There are no dents, cracks or bends.
